Computer Lab and Classes

 

Computer Instructors needed

Iredell Senior Center is looking for volunteer computer class instructors.  We have a computer lab with four stations that allow the instructor to provide personal attention and assistance to older adults.  The computers have Windows 10 and MS Office 2013.  In the past, Iredell Senior Center has offered classes on computer basics, Internet, Email, Word, Excel, Facebook, and getting digital photos from the camera to the computer to development/printing.  Private business volunteers would be considered, also.  Please contact Leslie Sams at 704-873-8568 or email at:   lsams@iredellcoa.org   

 Computer Lab and Classes

The Senior Center has an updated computer lab with Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office 2013.  You may drop in and use the lab when classes are not taking place.  Most classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays

 Computer Classes

Four people are scheduled per class and individual attention is available.  Register for a class and you will be notified of the next available session…unless class dates are noted below.  Instructor:  Dave Buchanan.  Assistant:  Bernie Lukas.  Please phone 704-873-8568 to register.

 Introduction to Computers

New classes begin in April.

These classes are for the person who needs basic computer skills.  Two sessions, a morning and afternoon, are offered:  on Tuesdays & Thursdays, at 10:00-11:30 AM   Six classes per session.  Fee:  $15.  Registration required.

Picasa Photo Editing

Picasa Photo Editing ~ Learn how to crop, do special effects, make collages, import from your camera, and more. Fee:  $5.00 .   Instructor:  Sharon Gibson
